Kunta
Kunta
- Illustrator

Profile: Self-taught illustrator Kunta explores daily life and societal ideals through animal figures. He works in many different mediums including airbrush, paper cut-outs, drawing, and digital art. His work is known for its clean lines and attention to detail. His clients have included Shueisha, Kodansha, and Recruit, and his work has been exhibited at the New York Museum of American Illustration, the Ojio Paper Gallery (Tokyo), the International Design Center in Nagoya and many other venues. He recently illustrated the Zetsumetsu Dobutsu Tankentai series by Masahiro Sobue and Shoichi Kurokawa.

SCBWI TOKYO
The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators is the only international organization to offer a variety of services to people who write, illustrate, or share a vital interest in children’s literature.

The SCBWI acts as a network for the exchange of knowledge between writers, illustrators, editors, publishers, agents, librarians, educators, booksellers and others involved with literature for young people.

The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Tokyo branch offers members support, information, and education at a local level in mainland Japan.
